Yunnan is located at the junction of the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau and the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, mostly above 2000 meters above sea level, with a low-latitude warm temperate plateau mountain monsoon climate. In high-altitude virgin forests, the cool climate keeps truffles away from pests, with sufficient sunlight and nourishment from snow water of Yulong Snow Mountain, making them large and thick-fleshed. Dried black truffle slices are a dehydrated processed product — dark black color, purple-black marble veins on cut surface, no additives, original color and flavor.
