The cap is hemispherical to flat, wavy or lobed cracks. Thick scales on grayish surface arrange in concentric rings, dark brown like tiger paw when dry. Flesh is nearly white, stipe cylindrical, central or lateral, mostly hollow. Spines are grayish-white then dark brown.
